few days ago, one of my colleagues just told me something worth thinking.

she told me that...
living in singapore can be quite torturing - you live, struggle, and eventually die.
why study so hard when you're still a kid?
why study so hard for psle, n level, o level, maybe a level?
why struggle so hard to get a degree? working and studying is never easy.
why struggle so hard to conceive? - probably for the government's incentives? but that makes no sense actually. let nature takes its course.
why work so hard in your mid-life?

one will eventually fall ill, stop working and start seeking medical consultations and then, die.
...and where will all the hardearn-ed money go? of course, to the hospital.

she wants to be different...
her goal is to travel round the world, freely.

i don know what i want in life. i will probably be the super typical singaporean.
study study study.
work work work.
study study study.
work work work.

get married and have babies.
work work work.
work work work.
work work work.

when i was a child, i told my teacher that i want to be a teacher.
haas, i think those were just craps!

i bet you told your teacher that you want to be an engineer, a doctor, a lawyer and probably a policeman too!

hahas.

where do you see yourself in the future?

if genie appear, what would you wish for?
