have been teaching two new koreans chinese lately.
it is indeed a challenging task for me.

i really don know where to start teaching the primary four girl. in a dilemma.
she just joined her school after the march holiday and they are at chapter 7 now. primary four chinese is not easy (not that i don know how to read or so) for her and it is very obvious that she doesnt know anything, she doesnt even know what she is reading, not even the han yu pin yin.

yet, i am afraid that if i do not match her school schedule, she will lose interest in chinese and eventually will do very badly for the tests. this will affect me as well. aye but the thing is that, she can't cope. i am like forcing her to do what she doesnt like to do. just imagine yourself learning another language at advance level without any basic knowledge.


part of me wanted to teach her from scratch but time doesnt allow me to.

she has got too much to catch up.




of all subjects, why am i teaching her chinese!
it's really tough! sigh.
