well, i had driving lesson from 2pm - 4pm just now. everything's alright but i was just feeling very restless and RESTLESS that at some point of time, i almost dozed off. was so tired that i didnt bother talking to the instructor, so just imagine that i spent 2 hours trying very very hard to stay awake. no idea why i was so lethargic since i woke up at 11am. anyways, it was my first time seeing a dead cat dying on the road, bleeding. cars/lorries/trucks were driving at very fast-and-furious speed and when i saw the dead cat, my first reaction was to shift more to the right to avoid crashing onto it and dirty the tyres. but it was such a stupid move because many vehicles (such as lorries and big trucks) on my right were moving at high speed. i think without the help of my instructor, i would have become a dead person. then newspaper headline would be, "A learner driver killed by a dead cat!"

so stupid.

my driving test is less than two weeks away. i am scared. really.

school started like two weeks ago and i have been looking forward to lectures! not because i enjoy listening to lecturers mumbling to themselves but because i anticipate all kinds of refreshment provided! it's free yet not free because we paid 22k! to make full use of the amount we paid, we will fill ourselves to the fullest and if possible skip lunch and dinner! haa might as well just bring tupperware next time so we can dabao and perhaps sell it outside some mrt station! "lelong lelong tuna puff curry puff 3 for 1 dollar... swiss roll 1 for 50cent!"

extra income. not bad! but sounds so much like a yaogui!


let's rewind...

6th July 2007 - MY LOVE'S BIRTHDAY!
after two years, darling can finally celebrate his birthday OUTSIDE camp! someone said that i am a lousy girlfriend because i had prepared nothing for him, no surprises, no presents. only one card. it has been three years and i have already run out of ideas, those things that i wanted to get for him will definitely need him to be there himself so that i will not buy the wrong size or whatever. THEREFORE, i swear that i will be bringing him for a shopping spree this saturday since my pay is here and he is happy that he can spend my money without worrying that we are financially-handicap!

anyway, we met up with his secondary school friends that saturday to celebrate weetat and his birthday (as both birthdays fall on the same date). celebration at miramar hotel this time round; dinner buffet. before heading to the hotel, we met outside The Central and the guys bought them a cake from GOBI "disturbingly delightful desserts". so far so, i think GOBI's the first dessert shop that impress me that much with their creations. Their desserts look good and taste good, comes in superb packaging as well. However, it's a little expensive (too expensive for me actually, oops) but it's worth it, TRUST ME!

unforeseen circumtances happened - traffic jam and a little difficult to get a cab. another funny thing happened, seng giap walked too fast leaving the few of us behind walking aimlessly wondering where he was. somebody called him and realised that he has already board the cab and was already heading to the hotel. COOL ah to have throw us behind and leaving alone. HA, but i guess it was just a misunderstanding (:

reached the hotel restaurant a little later than planned i guess. settled down and started ordering food. but the food took a thousand years to arrive. probably they went china to order and then shipped back to singapore and then repack and recook everything then serve us. YES, they were damn slow.

- skip the makan-ing part -

we stayed till the restaurant was about to chase us all out. for me, i think the best part was the indulgence of the heavenly chocolate cake from GOBI! we should organize a CHOCOLATE BUFFET outing the next time round man! we should.

loitered around the hotel lobby waiting for decision to be made. few choices made available - clubbing (since we can smell MoS then), kboxing and what else... as usual, clubbing didnt appeal to everyone there so kbox was the best choice. headed down to hougang plaza and negotiate a little with the kbox reception on the price. initially, she wanted to charge us $35 each. ah but natural reaction, it's way too expensive so we walked away a little. then she comes to a better price of $25.

i think kbox-ing with them was FUN! we took lotsa photos and many funny things happened! couldnt stop laughing just thinking about those funny stuff. haha.

the best part was that... EVERYONE HAD FUN!!


reached home around 4plus and lecture was suppose to be at 930am. so, it's human nature to have skipped school (and because he encouraged me to skip, LOL) although i know it was wrong because i paid 22k not to skip school! however, it was still wise to have skipped school because if i were to head down to school, i will have to rushed down to eunos for my driving lesson at 130pm (obviously i will be late). then after lesson at 3pm, i will have to go do some shopping and then meet darling's army friends at 5pm marina.

so if i were to go school... everything will be so rush for me and moreover, i will flare up if i have got not enough sleep. and because it was darling's birthday, i really didnt want to lose my temper. aye, but failed. i lose control on both days... im sorry!

7th July 2007 - birthday celebration Part II
met up with darling after my driving and supposedly to do some shopping aka buying present for him. FAILED! attitude problem probably cos i was hungry and tired. end up buying nothing. sorry again.

met up with his army friends for marina buffet and we were late. my fault again because i wanted to go toilet and the queue was so long but i still queue-d, shouldnt have queue-d. reached there quite early and started bbq-ing. haa and i believe that aaron and wenming are now crab masters because they are the ones who killed the crabs and chopped nicely (ready for bbq).

every time i go for such buffet, i will end up eating all the cooked food (such as fries, fried wanton etc) only and hotdog! steamboat without hotdog is never happy.

after all the makaning, one man went mahjong-ing and the rest headed down for some bowling game. haa i think i dislike bowling man. it gets boring after a few game... probably because i played well for the first few rounds ONLY, last few rounds i can balek kampong.

well well well... i would say that that week was the best week because we have make full use of the weekend and spent lots of time together (excluding the number of times i flared).

if only every weekends are well-spend *

am so free nowadays. not working. not schooling (the next time i need to go back to school would be tuesday). i am happy this way, i don know why. but sooner of later, i will officially declare bankrupt again!
